West Melbourne Backyard Wedding | Virginia & Michael
For the couple that had given each other nicknames before they physically met, this wedding was to be about more than just the wedding. Virginia and Michael made this wedding day all about their friends and family. One question that is asked of all of my Brides and Grooms is who are the most important people at your wedding? Their response to this was, everyone is important to them, and just as the words were type, their hearts displayed this.
Virginia and Michael’s favorite location to be are the beaches of Central Florida, but this beautiful backyard location opened its arms to them. Tucked in a hidden location of West Melbourne, Florida just south of all of the shopping centers, this backyard is a hidden gem. As Virginia made her way down the aisle being escorted by her father to her future husband, I could see the excitement in Michael’s eyes. He was ready to touch his soon to be wife.
“Two people in love, alone, isolated from the world, that's beautiful." ― Milan Kundera
Michael is one of the coolest and calmest young men that I’ve met. He is so welcoming and just an overall wonderful guy. During their toast, his Best-Man spoke about how they first met as children. He was having a bad day, and Michael came out of nowhere and pretty much sat and spoke with him until he felt better. It was said multiple times that Michael has a heart of gold. Then there is Virginia; she’s the more outgoing of the two. She is such a sweetheart as she is all about helping people also. Even though she was extremely nervous about the wedding, there was not a time that I did not see a smile on her face. She truly was the happiest woman in the World on her wedding night, because she recognized that her husband is the greatest.
From the day that Michael gave Virginia his number at 7/11, (she swore that she was not going to call him), till the point when Michael rushed for the engagement ring as Virginia was heading up the stairs (trying to relieve her feet from the wedges that she had worn all day), everything has been perfect. Even the fact that Michael’s feet was covered with noodles during his proposal to Virginia. They have kept everything simple, including the wedding, which was perfect.
Jenny and Michael, thank you for allowing R Hickman Photography for documenting your wedding. It was fun, and full of love, and I enjoyed every moment of it. Please enjoy this snapshot of your wedding and I have nothing but the best wishes for you two in the future!!!
